for & In the consideration of five hundred
Dollars, to me in hand paid, good & lawful
money of this government I have this day
bargoned & sould unto Frost Thorn of the
District of Nacogdoches & State before mentioned
a certain yellow Negro fellow Slave for life
and Named Harry and I do by this presents
grant bargon and sell Jointly with my
husband H. C. Watson Said fellow Named
Harry Slave for life the wright of which 
slave I do warrant and forever depend
to Said Thorn from me & my heirs and all 
legal Claimants forever to hold said slave
for his owne use and benefit
